Modern Slavery Act 2015

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 significantly enhanced the criminal penalties for traffickers and illegal gang masters, alongside increasing support and protection for victims.

The Act introduced a statutory requirement on large businesses to publish an annual statement on the steps taken to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place within their business operations.

As a business DGH Recruitment are not required by law to publish all annual statements. We do however take the legalisation very seriously and will take any required steps to ensure compliance of our supply chain.

Our own staff are guided on how to spot the signs of modern slavery and the reporting procedures.

At DGH by checking personal documentation this ensures that it is in the candidate’s possession.
